​​Who Can Join the Health Hackathon?

The Health Hackathon is open to students, faculty, and healthcare professionals from across Qatar who are passionate about health innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

We Welcome:

• Students from all universities in Qatar (QU, QF, UDST, HBKU, and more), especially those studying:
  • Business & Finance
  • Engineering & Technology
  • Medical & Health Sciences
  • Marketing & Communication
• Faculty staff from diverse academic backgrounds who are eager to mentor, contribute expertise, and collaborate on real-world challenges.
• Clinicians and healthcare professionals from institutions such as HMC, PHCC, Sidra, and others who bring frontline insights and practical experience.

Participant Structure

Around 180 accepted participants were organized into interdisciplinary teams, each consisting of at least 4 members with a balance of the following roles:

• Medical & Health Experts
• Developers and Designers
• Business & Finance Specialists
• Marketing & Communication Strategists

Each Team Will Include:

A student

A faculty member

A healthcare professional

(Both junior and senior participants to ensure diversity and mentorship)

Hardware-related needs (e.g., 3D printing, device prototyping) will be supported by our sponsors.
